Well this weather has certainly given the new Ka a run out
its proven much better than the wifes sportKa at getting up hills (though my street is a ridiculously steep hiill)
however, ive also noticed a few niggles and wondered if anyone else had the same

My inside front window is always iced in the morning, the sportka isnt and its parked next to it but the new ka is
could this be faultly seals??

also, the fan selector is missing the main one i used in the sportka
its missing the fan on window and centre vents option....
this is essential as it clears the front and door windows simultaniously..with the new car i have to keep switching to clear them

never noticed until this snow

am i being too picky?

Does seem like a step backwards with the fan setup - ice on the inside is unusual unless the car on the inside is damp or rarely used, could you ask your dealer whether any of the new Ka's on their forecourt are the same? If not then you have a case for a warranty job!!

Should have bought one with a heated front screen.
When I get another one it is first thing on shopping list.

It has shredded another windscreen wiper blade the other day. Still not fixed that.

My KA 1 had frost inside the other day but it was -12c

Dampness on the inside (which freezes overnight and turns to ice in the extreme cold) is nothing new on Fiat cars,

I smear the inside of my windows with RainX stuff which helps stop the side windows steaming up and may help stop icing up too.

Heated front screen on mine is brilliant and together with the air con seems to keep the visibility good on mine all round.

<The little skinny tyres on mine are rather good in the snow too>

I noticed that mine got frosted on the front inside because I was using the recyclable air setting? Not too sure if you were using that setting, I've found mine to be great to be fair, clears the screen quite quickly, but I wish I had a front heated windscreen too! Hope this weather vanishes soon getting sick of it now!

Mine has been brilliant throughout the bad weather. The heated windscreen and the air con keep the windows clear, unless parked up my boyfriend keeps breathing out lol. The diesel motor is soooo torquey that climbing snowy hills in 3rd wasn't a problem. Overall I'm really pleased with mine, and she had her 2nd service the other day too....poor old girl lol
